DAILY
LUNCH Daily 1-3pm-We serve an average of 150 carry-out meals per
day.
FOOD PANTRY Daily 1-3pm-We distribute
an average of 110 family food bags per week. Clients can receive
(1) food bag per month. Distribution is heavier at the end of the month.
THRIFT SHOP/CLOTHING CLOSET Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday
We provide clothing, furniture, appliances, etc FREE OF CHARGE with
a referral from your church, social worker, or another "help" organization
Open to the Public Saturday 9:30am-1:00pm-you never know what you
will find “at the best yard sale in town”.
EMERGENCY UTILITY ASSISTANCE If you
are in need of emergency utility assistance. Please call our office
(304) 327-8167 Monday-Friday 9:30am-4:00pm to set up an interview. Applicants should apply as soon
as they receive a termination notice, and not wait until the day their electricity
is scheduled to be cut off. Inexpensive ways for conserving
electricity and staying warm include ‘draft dodgers,’ (big long stuffed socks
you put at the bottom of your door). And plastic encasement kits you
put around your windows. Using blankets, stocking caps, and other warm
clothing can help, too

FRIENDLY CHAPEL SERVICE Every Friday at 2:00 pm the
doors of “Friendly Chapel” open for prayer requests and a short devotion.

RENEWAL PROJECT to help those in the
criminal justice system make the transition from institutional living
to community living. While incarcerated we provide Bible study, weekly
visits, and clothing (for those who do not have uniforms).And assistance
to their families including the “Toys for Forgotten Tots” at Christmas.
SHELTER PLUS Whether natural disaster,
human tragedy, or other urgent situation the Bluefield Union Mission helps
with transportation and lodging.
THE SECOND CHANCE - A SHOP OF UNIQUE FINDINGS Commerce Street
entrance of the West Virginia Manor Gift Shop open Monday-Saturday 9:30am-3:00pm.
